For some God forsaken reason we have decided to turn our getting to India into an adventure. First we will drive from phoenix to los angeles, via mi ma, then we will take a flight, at 1am mind you, to taipei, taiwan. we will arrive in taipei at around 8am. now unlike most travelers we opted, by opted i mean paid for, a layover of twenty four hours to explore vibrant taiwain. now the astute traveler would say this is the stupidest idea ever because we should be saving all our energy for the 3 week jaunt which will take us from extremely hectic cities to 12000 feet above sea level in rural india. the astute traveler would say this even before learning that we will not be getting a hotel for those 24 hrs, instead we will explore a foreign city that neither of us have ever been too and whose language neither of us speak. to say the least the plan is bold. that is kind of the mantra of this trip, and so i approved of it. but if this goes south in taiwan we all know who to blame…ill give you a hint his name rhymes with lawn and hes the opposite of tall and the inverse of cool. -t out
you didnt pay for your ticket so you best watch your tongue
im actually pretty stocked about it…for all of the six people reading this blog, got any ideas as to what we should do in taipei for 24hrs? we have got taipei 101, chiang kai shek memorial, something night market, and this really good restraunt whose name i forgot…so if you got any other ideas we would appreciate them, 24hrs isnt a lot of time but its longer than youd think wen traveling with a one sean gause…heres lookin at you kid. -t out
